Since the Singapore Grand Prix, Formula 1, i got addicted to motor sports racing and to be specific is Formula 1 racing.

Yesterday was the finale for this season's championship when title are yet to be decided. It was the Sao Paulo Brazil Grand Prix. In contention for the drivers championship title was Lewis Hamilton and Felipe Massa. Hamilton needed only a fifth spot finish regardless of Massa's position to grab his first world champion as become the youngest player to win. So, it was Hamilton's title to lose.

There was drama right from the start when the race was delayed for 10mins due to a heavy down pour. The race started soon after the rain, Massa started very well as he takes the lead. Ok...i shall skip the boring part and go to more drama. Drama starts again for the final few laps as the weather changes and started to rain again. Therefore most cars did went into the pit stop to get their tyres changed. Massa and Hamilton did change their tyres too.

Massa was leading comfortably while Hamilton was being pressured by Kubica and Vettel. Hamilton was just nice, in his needed fifth position with 3 laps to go. But everything go wrong when Kubica forced Hamilton to go wide? I guess so, didnt watch carefully. Thus leading to Vettel and Kubica overtaking and now Hamilton in seventh position which would see Massa winning the world champion if it ends up like this. Joy for the ferrari's garage, shock for the McClarens garage. So Hamilton went on to an agressive mode so as to save his title, he did get back to sixth position, but its still not enough.

1 lap left and trailing behind Vettel for that fifth spot. Massa finishes his race at this point of time just waiting for the outcome now. Vettel did hang on for his fifth spot, so logically speaking, at this point of time, everyone would have thought that Massa has done the impossible and Hamilton has lost his title yet again like last year. But... maricles happened for the McClaren driver, Timo Glock slow down due to his tyres worn out because he didnt change it, he risked it and it didnt work for him. Hamilton this time go past Glock and claim the title.

Guess what, the ferrari team thought Massa has won it and so they celebrated and jumping with joy, never did they realise that Glock has slow down at the very final moment and Hamilton has overtake and wins the title. When the news reached them, emotions were felt.

Anyway, although there is lots and lots of drama in the final laps and people might think Hamilton's lucky to win it. But overall, throughout the season, he did consistanly well. He deserved the title but to be honest i do pity Massa, its so near yet so far.

Goodluck to all the drivers next year. I am so gonna catch it week in week out like soccer.
